FRENCH ARTIST Ebip Serafedino

Ebip Serafedino was born on November 20th, 1952 in Skopje – Macedonia. Now he lives and works in his atelier in Paris. The artist practices the expressionist style, not figurative. From 1970 to 1974 he created in Rome, Florence, Venice, Tenerife, Berlin, Amsterdam. He arrived in Paris in 1975 and his first exhibition was held in 1980.

Next year he pressented his art works in „Musée de Cire“, nowday „L´espace Dali“. In 1984, he participated in a collective exhibition in the Gallery Robert Philippe. He also exhibited in Hamburg, Saarbrücken (New Art Gallery, then two times in „Galerie des Filmhauses“), Helsingborg (Sweden, Gallery Flesser), Istanbul (Gallery Ekol Constantinopolis), and in Paris in 1995 in the Gallery Etienne de Causans. In a recently published catalogue, in three languages, Gérard Xuriguera – author of the preface, does not hide his enthusiasm for his art works: „…With a sobriety adorned by flamboyance, an unbridled lyricism influenced by a constructive spirit, an impatient gesture which knows how to confine its wanderings, an awaken imagination, Serafedino developed an art work which is rich and flexible, powerful and contrastive…“ Atelier „Place d Tertre“. A native of Macedonia he‘s got this mediterranean fervour and he adores bright colours which form in their embracement a fraternal and cosmopolitan mosaic.
