Kanta Kishore Moharana<\/strong>\u00a0wurde am 30. Juni 1980 in der N\u00e4he der Stadt Bhubaneswar in Indien in der Familie traditioneller Bildhauer geboren. Sein Vater und \u00e4lteren Br\u00fcder sind professionelle K\u00fcnstler und Handwerker. Als Kind spielte sich Kanta Kishore mit Schnitzwerkzeugen, Holz und anderen Materialien. Er spielte mit verschiedenen Medien und schuf verschiedene Skulpturen. Er erwarb den Bachelor-Abschluss in Bildender Kunst an der B. K. Collage of Art and Crafts und sp\u00e4ter den Master-Abschluss an der Govt. College of Art and Crafts in Kalkutta. W\u00e4hrend er in Kalkutta lebte, experimentierte er mit verschiedenen Materialien, seinen eigenen Konzepten und erlangte Anerkennung bei allen zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Bildhauern.<\/p>\n

Kanta Kishore Moharana befasst sich sehr intensiv mit sozialen Fragen und Problemen des t\u00e4glichen Lebens der Menschheit wie Urbanisierung und Globalisierung. Der K\u00fcnstler kennt diese Probleme der Gesellschaft sehr gut, weil er selbst ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Ganzen ist, er ist ein Mann und kein verherrlichender Held.<\/p>\n

Kanta Kishore Moharans skulpturale Pr\u00e4sentationen zeigen insbesondere Gewalt gegen Frauen, Unruhen der Arbeiter, Kinderarbeit, Hunger, Arbeitslosigkeit und terroristische Aktivit\u00e4ten in Indien.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row curly_padding=“content-padding“ css=“.vc_custom_1587296404408{margin-top: -50px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}“][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=“2\/3″][vc_column_text]\n

Wenn wir uns seine konzeptuellen Werke aus der \u201eNewspaper\u201c -Serie ansehen, muss sich jeder auf den ersten Blick in sie verlieben. Er kann genial Marmor verarbeiten, aus dem er wunderbare Werke schafft. Er schnitzt B\u00fccher aus wei\u00dfem Marmor und f\u00fcgt ihnen Metallst\u00fccke hinzu. Dank dieser Materialkombination entstehen buchst\u00e4blich atemberaubende Kunstwerke.<\/p>\n

Er wechselte von der \u201eNewspaper\u201c -Serie, mit der Kanta Kishore begann, mit Marmor zu arbeiten, zur Installation der \u201eArbeiterunruhen (Labour Rally)\u201c -Serie, als er auf der Harmony Show 2007 von Tina Ambani geschnitzte Marmorkapellen ausstellte. Er bekundete damit sein Interesse an sozialen Themen.<\/p>\n

Kanta Kishore Moharana hat Erfahrung mit vielen verschiedenen Materialien wie Holz, Granit, Fasern und Bronze. Seine Werke umfassen innere situative Ideen. Eines der Werke seiner \u201eNewspaper Series\u201c weist auf Kinderarbeit hin. Es ist eine t\u00e4gliche Erinnerung an dieses Problem, das nur dann verschwinden wird, wenn die Gesellschaft es selbst will.<\/p>\n

Kunstliebhaber und Kritiker waren sehr \u00fcberrascht, wenn sie seine Kunstwerke im India Habitat Center in Neu-Delhi sehen. Alle fragten sich, wie viel Geduld und Zeit er in diese erstaunlichen Kunstwerke investieren musste.<\/p>\n
